Blake had been complaining for a couple of days that his tongue hurt. I looked at it and concluded that he had a canker sore. A couple of days later, he was still complaining about it and he also seemed to be a bit more lethargic than normal. He wasn't eating either, but that's normal for him lately. Yesterday I took him to the doctor who diagnosed him with Gingivostomatitis. He is completely miserable. He will not open his mouth for any reason whatsoever. He will drink a few sips here and there through a straw, but other than that his lips are zipped tight. So...he has not spoken now for two days. It's quite pathetic actually. I miss his little voice and his screaming through the house, and at the same time I'm wondering if it is wrong of me to encourage him to lick his sister. Hopefully, this virus will pass quickly and I'll be saying SHHHHH again very soon.

You made me laugh so hard about the licking!! I am so sorry for Blake though! He looks miserable, poor little guy!
I think I've had that before, but never new it had such a long name. Poor little guy.
Can you send a swab sample to us? I'll put in my daughter's drink . . . ha ha.
Really, poor kid, I hope he feels better soon. In the mean time, enjoy the silence.
How miserable! Poor little guy.
